Welcome!

Wait... what?  A "babywearing" meeting?  You mean like putting your baby in sling?  Why do you need a whole meeting for that?......

I know, it sounds a little weird at first, and maybe it is.  People have been wearing their babies for generations and never needed "meetings."  However, people also used to live in villages where each new generation was taught the skills of its people by the generation before them.  A lot of arts have been lost and babywearing is one of them.  Something so simple has become confusing and difficult for many, especially with the addition of dozens of companies manufacturing hundreds of carrier options!  We are here to help you through that confusion.

At meetings you can:
  • Learn about different carrier options to find one that will fit your lifestyle
  • Try different carriers on to see what you do/don't like
  • Get help with a carrier you already own
  • Borrow a carrier for a month ($5 fee with a very limited lending library for now)
  • Mingle with other moms and make new friends!
Meetings are FREE and public.  Children of all ages are always welcome.  Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Third Cousins and anyone else who would like to learn about babywearing is welcome!
